If one cocktail defines simple elegance, it's the Negroni. Three equal parts and almost nothing else. But there's history behind the recipe.
A thirsty (and impatient) count
Legend has it that around 1919 in Florence, Count Camillo Negroni asked to strengthen his Americano by swapping the soda for gin. And so one of the world's most imitated aperitifs was born.
The classic recipe
Equal parts gin, red vermouth and Campari, stirred over ice and served with an orange peel. Bitter at first, rounded at the finish.
Our version
At Caroca we build it in front of you, flaming the orange peel to release its oils. A small ritual that completely changes the aroma.
