The 7 best cocktails to try in central Granada

An honest guide to picking the right drink in Bib-Rambla, from timeless classics to our house creations.

Granada is meant to be sipped slowly. Between the Alhambra, the tapas and the buzz of Bib-Rambla, the city invites you to sit down, watch the afternoon go by and raise a glass. If you're wondering what to order, here's our pick of the cocktails that work best in the centre.

1. House Negroni

The quintessential Italian classic: equal parts gin, red vermouth and bitter, stirred and served with a flamed orange peel. Bitter, elegant and perfect to start the night. At Caroca we make it with orange peeled fresh in front of you.

2. Caroca Mule

Our take on the Moscow Mule, served in a copper mug to keep it ice-cold: vodka, ginger, lime and a touch of local pomegranate. Refreshing and lively, ideal for warm days on the square.

3. Premium gin & tonic

In a gin-loving city like Granada, the balloon glass is almost a religion. The key is the ice, the tonic and the botanical that pairs with each gin. Ask our team — they'll recommend the perfect match.

4. Espresso Martini

For those who want to keep the party going: vodka, coffee liqueur and freshly pulled espresso. Creamy, full-bodied and with just enough caffeine to stretch the night.

5. Aperol Spritz

The perfect aperitivo in the sun: Aperol, cava and soda with orange. Bubbly and light, it's the afternoon cocktail par excellence.

6. Classic Mojito

White rum, fresh mint, lime and cane sugar. Easy to order, hard to nail. Ours has mint muddled to order.

7. Carmen, our signature cocktail

Reposado tequila, lime and orange blossom with a salt rim. A nod to Andalusia, citrusy and aromatic, found only at Caroca.
