Granada’s daily newspaper IDEAL has featured us in its plans section, under the headline «Caroca, una forma muy granadina de entender el tardeo» — roughly, “a very Granada way to do the tardeo”. We are delighted, because it focuses on exactly what we are: cocktails, music and a menu born from a Granada tradition.
What IDEAL wrote
The piece starts with our name, which it says is no accident: it comes straight from the carocas of Corpus Christi, the illustrations with satirical verses hung every year in Bib-Rambla. From there it moves to the menu: ten cocktails, each with its own caroca, from the Espresso Martini to the Sangría Bib-Rambla.
It also covers the tardeo — we open from 3 pm — and the terrace under the bougainvillea, and sums it up in a line we love: «Bib-Rambla, dos copas y una coctelería que ha hecho de Granada parte de su propia carta» (Bib-Rambla, two drinks and a cocktail bar that has made Granada part of its own menu).
Two drinks with Oferplan
The article comes with a deal: IDEAL’s Oferplan has added us to its selection, with two cocktails or two drinks at an exclusive price. Get the deal on Oferplan and redeem it with us on Bib-Rambla.
What did not fit in the article
An article only has so much room, so here is what was left out: we show all the football on the big screen, with sound, we have 19 gigs in October with our cast of artists, a Friday afterwork with a DJ and a brand-new shots menu. And if you are planning a celebration, see how we host private events.
Thank you, IDEAL. See you on Bib-Rambla.
